Support the 42nd

Group Photo
The 42nd Highlanders Regimental Pipes & Drums is a service band. Our mission is to promote fellowship, the music of the great highland bagpipe, highland dance and the Celtic
arts, and to pay honors to the pipers and military veterans of all nations. Our band has performed, free of charge, at hundreds of funerals and memorial services for American and Allied military veterans. We need your support in order to continue with these efforts.
Make a Donation

Our band members devote a lot of time and energy to these causes, but they can't do it all alone. Your contributions help the band to purchase uniforms and equipment, and defray travel expenses for performance events and other band functions.

Dedicate a Tune
Lone Piper
In raising funds to support its mission, the band insists on giving full value for all contributions received. In return for your donation, a piper of the 42nd Highlanders Regimental Pipes & Drums will pipe a tune specifically dedicated by name to a person you choose to recognize. Remember someone special or
give a gift to honor someone close to you. Donors will be listed on the band's honor roll.

Battle Cancer
Marie Curie Cancer Care
In addition, the band will donate half of all funds raised to the Marie Curie Cancer Care. Every year the charity provides care to around 30,000 cancer patients and their families - entirely free of charge. Furthermore, the foundation provides education and training in cancer and palliative care for doctors, nurses
and other healthcare professionals, while scientists at the world-renowned Marie Curie Research Institute are at the forefront of research into the causes and treatment of human cancers.

Donate Today
Besides benefitting the band and cancer research, because both the 42nd Highlanders Regimental Pipes & Drums and the Marie Curie Cancer Care are non-profit charitable organizations 100% of your donation is tax deductible.

Help support the band, dedicate a tune in the name of somone you love and do your part to battle cancer. It's a win-win-win proposal!

Pipefest 2005
Eileen Doonan Castle
To all those who gave to help send the band to Scotland in August for Pipefest 2005 - our most sincere and heartfelt thanks! Our participation in this event was the highlight of the trip, and through your contributions we were in turn able to present the Marie Curie Cancer Care with a significant donation. Check
the "Pipefest 2005" page in the Multimedia Gallery for more details, as well as photos, video and Memorial Tunes certificates.
